The Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) invites you to register for its two-day Inventory Management online workshop on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM (EST) daily.
The Inventory Management workshop is facilitated and certified by the Management Institute for National Development (MIND).
The course will provide participants with knowledge that allows them to maintain proper inventory/stock management systems; utilise different methods of inventory taking; implement control measures as it relates to inventory management; and maintain health and safety procedures when dealing with inventory/stock items.
The course content includes:
- • Importance of inventory records
- • Methods of recording inventory
- • Inventory location systems
- • Storage conditions
- • Inventory replenishment systems
- • Safety procedures for inventory taking
- • Ethical issues in inventory management
All relevant materials, including access to literature, will be provided for the duration of the course.
