
Maria Daniel is a Senior Partner in Strategy and Transactions at Ernst & Young Caribbean, where she has spent over twenty plus years working to support growth and innovation across the Caribbean. Maria has been fortunate to be part of the growth of her department from five persons in Trinidad to over fifty-five resolute professionals throughout the region. Maria has worked on various high-profile engagements over her career covering areas such as Strategic planning, due diligence, valuations, restructuring, and sustainability services, allowing her to contribute to meaningful projects that impact businesses and communities.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is a Trustee under the Bankruptcy Act of Trinidad and Tobago, holds certificates in Sustainability Finance and Circular Economy.
She enjoys sharing her experiences and insights at regional conferences and through local publications, hoping to inspire others to embrace strategic thinking and collaborative leadership. Maria believes in the power of teamwork and continuous learning, and she is grateful for the opportunities to gain experience alongside her colleagues and clients in the Caribbean business landscape.
