Shelly Balkissoon is a highly skilled sales, marketing and business development professional with 20 years’ combined experience working in the oil and gas, petrochemical and maritime sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science (Chemistry) from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and Master of Business Administration (MBAs) from The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (UWI) in International Trade, Logistics and Procurement and; from Henley Business School, University of Reading, U.K. in General Management. She holds other certifications with Antwerp Flanders Port Training Centre (APEC) in Port Business Development and Marketing and Port Logistics.
She is currently the Manager, Marketing and Business Development at the Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Limited and is member of the National Trade Facilitation Committee of Trinidad and Tobago.
