
Mr. Bevan Narinesingh
Mr. Bevan Narinesingh is a seasoned legal and regulatory professional with over 25 years of experience in competition policy, corporate law, international trade, and project management. He has served as the Executive Director of the Fair Trading Commission of Trinidad and Tobago since 2014, leading the agency’s strategic and operational mandate in promoting fair and transparent markets. Prior to this appointment he held the position of Senior Legal Officer at the CARICOM Secretariat, where he was responsible for a broad range of legal and policy areas.
Mr. Narinesingh holds an LL.B. from the University of the West Indies, an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics, an LLM in International Trade from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and is a graduate of the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School Executive Leadership Programme.
In addition to his role at the Commission, Mr. Narinesingh has been actively engaged in academia and public service. He has served as a university lecturer and tutor, and as a member of several boards and committees both locally and regionally. He is also actively involved in motivational speaking and public education where he shares insights on leadership, resilience and societal impact. In recognition of his achievements and service, Mr. Narinesingh was honoured by the University of the West Indies as one of its Distinguished Alumni during the institution’s 75th anniversary celebrations.
